The National Federation of Music Clubs is pleased to announce that Charlie Plante, piano student of Fran Scheunemann, was named the 2023 winner of the North Central Region Stillman Kelley Award. In addition to playing piano, Charlie also plays percussion in the Cedarburg High School band, and is a gifted composer. Charlie participates in Federation Festival as well as the NFMC Junior Composers program. He also also attended the Composers Institute, a summer camp sponsored by the North Central Region of NFMC. Congratulations to Charlie and his awesome teacher!
